TheraTub In A Closet

Yesterday, one of our installers was telling me about a recent installation that took place within a motor home. Normally, when the sales staff first hears about cases such as this, it's always cause for concern because such a tight space can make the logistics for installation a nightmare.
First of all, the tub has to be able to get through the entrance of the residence, then down the aisle to the bath space. In this case, we knew that would work out. From there, as long as the bath space measurements given to us check out, the installation can go as planned, despite close quarters.
In this motor home, the customer told us that he absolutely could not fit our tub, which is 50" in length, into his bath space. Instead, he proposed that we convert the closet into the tub space. This was unconventional, but as long as the tub fit and we could run the electric and plumbing to the space, there was not reason it couldn't work.
According to the installer, that closet was EXACTLY 50"! The tub fit absolutely flush against the three walls. Now, the tubs are shorter than a standard bath space, which usually gives the installer a bit of extra room to work with and set up the electronics under the tub. Well, as this installer said to me, "It was a bear of an install" with so little space to work. However, being the skilled professional he is, he was able to get everything up and working! We couldn't find our "before" picture, but here is the finished product.
