New Installation in Venice, FL

TheraTub just completed a walk-in tub installation in Venice, Florida. 

When our sales representative went to visit this customer, the intent was to position the tub the same as their old diagonal garden tub. However, they decided to, instead, put the walk-in tub against the wall in order to free some space.

They also decided against our usual white tub in favor of the cream colored tub. This more closely matched the earthy tones of their bath space.

HISA Grant and Walk-In Tubs

A couple of weeks ago, TheraTub posted pictures of a walk-in tub installation in Riverview, FL. That customer was able to pay for their tub with a HISA grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This grant provides medically necessary improvements and structural alterations to Veterans/Servicemembers’ primary residence. 

Veterans and Servicemembers who have a service connected condition may be eligible to receive up to $6,800, which can be used to cover most of the cost (or sometimes ALL of the cost) for one of our walk-in bathtubs! Coverage will be dependent on what amount of the person's condition is service related. 

If they receive the maximum amount, that will cover the cost of a "soaker" tub, which is a tub that allows the ease of access that a low step-in provides, but does not include water or air jets. The maximum amount will pay for most of a walk-in tub that includes water and air jets if the customer wants the benefit of those soothing qualities.

This customer also paid our installer to replace the vanity. The result is a bathroom with perfectly matched fixtures, including our Price Pfister oil-rubbed bronze faucet upgrade.

TheraTub just completed an installation in Riverview, FL for a retired veteran. He received a grant from one of our partners, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and said that he may even be interested in a second walk-in tub for his other bathroom!

The customer even added decor, bluetooth speakers, and even stickers to the finished tub!
